Book the chair.
Take the deposit.
Keep what’s yours.

Beatrice is booking and payments for hair, nails, brows, barbering and tattoo — deposits taken the moment someone books, no-show fees that actually charge, and never a commission on the clients you brought yourself.

Just an email for now — no card, no account. Founding invites go out area by area, waitlist first.

What the marketplaces charge

They call her a new client.
You call her Sarah.

She's been in your chair four years. Let a few months pass between visits and a marketplace can re-class her as a “new client” it just introduced — and take a cut of the reunion, on top of what you already pay them.

20%FreshaOn new-client bookings its marketplace introduces, minimum £4 and capped at £100 — on top of a £14.95-a-month subscription (extra calendars £9.95 each).
35%TreatwellOne-time, on the first booking of a new client its marketplace introduces — 0% on their repeat bookings, and nothing on bookings made directly with you. Commissions and fees are subject to VAT, so 35% costs 42% including it.
30%Booksy BoostOpt-in: a one-time fee (minimum £5) on the first visit of a client Booksy's marketplace introduced — nothing on your own clients — on top of a £40-a-month subscription, plus £5 a month per extra team member.
0%BeatriceCommission on your own clients: never — on every client, forever. We take a small fee on bookings we process, never a cut for the client.

Fee on payments we process: Stripe's cost plus 1.0–2.5% by plan, halving past 100 bookings a month. Never a commission on who your clients are.

“The maths isn't subtle. It's just been hidden inside someone else's app.”

What you actually get

Three tools that end the awkward part

Deposits at booking

Card taken and deposit held the moment they book, straight from your link — while you're mid-balayage and nowhere near a phone. An empty slot either fills or pays.

No-show fees that charge

Your policy, enforced automatically against the card on file. One tap forgives the genuine ones. No awkward messages, no lost afternoons.

Your brand, front and centre

A booking page that is entirely you — your name, your colours, your services. No directory listing your rivals beside your work.

The sums, done honestly

£24 a month, flat.
Commission: never.

Two clients a day or ten — the price doesn't care. Founding members lock this rate for as long as they stay, and founding invites go to the waitlist first.

Covers two chairs. A bigger team moves to Studio at £49 a month for three, then £10 a month per extra chair — still 0% commission, always. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.

Card payments have a cost, and Stripe bills us for it rather than you — payments run as destination charges. What you pay is our share, which halves past 100 bookings a month. That's a fee on the booking, not a cut for the client — the same whoever books and however they found you. A £35 deposit pays out about £34.12–£34.65, itemised on every payment.

Fair questions

When does Beatrice launch?

Beatrice is in pre-launch and opening early access soon. Join the waitlist and we’ll invite you in first when we launch in your area.

What is Beatrice?

Beatrice is a beautiful, low-fuss booking platform for appointment-based personal-care businesses — hair, nails, beauty, tattoo and more. Clients book an appointment in under a minute, you take a deposit up front, and reminders go out automatically.

How much commission does Beatrice take?

Beatrice charges 0% commission on your own clients — when someone books through your page, we never take a marketing cut of the booking or resell your clients to a competitor. The full price is the flat monthly fee plus our share of online card payments (1.0–2.5% by plan, halving past 100 bookings a month). Stripe's own card fee is billed to us, not to you, because payments run as destination charges. Example: a £35 deposit pays out about £34.12–£34.65 to your account, itemised on every payment.

Is Beatrice a marketplace?

No. Beatrice is your brand, not a marketplace. Your booking page looks like you — your name, your colours, your services — and clients come to you, not to a directory of competing salons.

Which businesses is Beatrice for?

Beatrice is built for appointment-based personal-care businesses — hair salons, barbers, nail studios, brow & lash artists, tattoo & piercing studios, aesthetics and skin clinics, massage and spa, and makeup artists. If clients book time with you, Beatrice fits.

What does joining the waitlist commit me to?

Nothing. It's an email address, not a contract — you get first call on the founding rate when early access reaches your area, one short update now and then, and an unsubscribe link on every email.

First call on the founding rate goes to this list.

Early-access invites go out in order, area by area, with one short update now and then while we build. Unsubscribe anytime; we never share your details.
