Treatwell, Fresha and Booksy each charge on the first booking of a client their marketplace counts as its own — and it is their rules, not yours, that decide which bookings those are. Those rules differ by platform and by country, and they turn on the route the client took, not on who built the relationship. Put in your numbers and see the yearly bill, next to a flat plan with no marketplace to be counted by.

Estimates based on each platform's published UK rates, all checked 15 Aug 2026. Treatwell: a one-time 35% commission on the first booking of a new client its marketplace introduces, 0% on their repeat bookings, and nothing on bookings made directly with you — including the ‘Book Now’ button on your own site and social (treatwell.co.uk/partners/pricing). All Treatwell commissions and fees are subject to VAT, so 35% costs 42% including it; the commission is “subject to location”, and both plans are shown as “Start for free” with no monthly price published even though the FAQ refers to one — so the Treatwell bar below counts commission only and understates their real total. Fresha: £14.95/mo + £9.95 per extra calendar and a 20% new-client fee (minimum £4, capped at £100). Booksy: £40/mo plus its opt-in Boost — a one-time 30% fee (minimum £5) on the first visit of a client Booksy's marketplace introduced, and nothing at all on the clients you bring in yourself (biz.booksy.com/en-gb/pricing). Rival subscriptions are their published rates excluding VAT; ours is the amount Stripe charges. Card processing is excluded on every bar: rivals charge their own (Treatwell 2.5% on online prepayments, Fresha 1.40% + 25p online), and on Beatrice Stripe bills us rather than you, because payments run as destination charges. Commission is shown on new-client bookings only. Beatrice is a flat £24/mo founding rate with 0% commission on any client — change the sliders to match your own book.
Treatwell charges a one-time 35% commission on the first booking of a new client its marketplace introduces to you, and 0% on that client's repeat bookings. Bookings made directly with you — including through the 'Book Now' button on your own site and social media — carry no commission. All Treatwell commissions and fees are subject to VAT, so 35% costs 42% including it, and the rate is 'subject to location'. Both plans are advertised as 'Start for free' with no monthly price published, though their FAQ refers to one. Beatrice charges a flat monthly fee, published, and takes 0% commission on your bookings.
In the UK, Fresha charges a 20% 'new client' fee on marketplace-attributed bookings — minimum £4, capped at £100 — plus a subscription (£14.95/month, £9.95/month per extra calendar) and card processing. The fee is decided market by market: in Spain and Poland Fresha charges no new-client fee at all. Beatrice never takes a percentage of a booking, anywhere.
Not on your own clients. Booksy's subscription is £40 a month excluding VAT, plus £5 a month per extra team member. Commission only applies if you opt into Boost, its marketplace: a one-time 30% fee (minimum £5) on the first visit of a client Boost introduced, and nothing after that. The catch is attribution — it is Booksy's marketplace that decides whether the person who booked was theirs or yours, so a client who found you on your own feed can still be counted as a Boost client. Beatrice has no marketplace to be counted by: a flat fee, 0% commission, every client yours.
Yes. Beatrice charges a flat monthly fee and takes 0% commission on your bookings. Clients book on a page under your own name and brand — not a marketplace — so the clients you introduce stay yours and you never pay a 'new client' fee on your own followers.
