Support

Support is by email and is answered by the people who build Beatrice. Write to hello@heybeatrice.com and we aim to reply within one working day (Monday to Friday, UK time). Anything stopping you taking bookings or payments gets looked at first.

What to include

  • The name of the business and its booking-page address (for example yourstudio.heybeatrice.com).
  • The email address on the account you are writing about.
  • What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot if you have one, and the reference code shown on any error page — it lets us find the failure in our logs.

For businesses

Beatrice is in early access, so the same address covers the waitlist, a founding-rate reservation and anything about an account that is already set up. Sign-in to the back office is by a magic link sent to your account email — check spam if it has not arrived within a minute. What the fees cost you on your own numbers is on the commission calculator, and the deal is set out in the Terms. Payment and payout questions are usually fastest to settle with your account email and the booking reference to hand.

For clients

Questions about an appointment — times, prices, what to bring, cancellations — are for the business you booked with: their contact details are on their booking page and on your confirmation email. We run the booking system; we do not run the business.

For the Beatrice app, your account, your data, or a payment that looks wrong, email us at the address above. To close your account, see Delete your account.

Service status

There is no public status page yet. If the booking pages, the apps or payments are unavailable, we email affected businesses directly, and you can always ask at the address above. Card payments are processed by Stripe, whose own status is published at status.stripe.com.

Privacy and data requests

How we handle personal data — for businesses and for their clients — is set out in the privacy notice, with the controller/processor terms in the Data Processing Agreement. If you are a client, you do not have to ask us to download your data or close your account — both are on Your data once you are signed in. Everything else (correcting something, objecting, or a request you cannot make because you cannot sign in) goes to the same address: there is no separate privacy mailbox on Beatrice, and we would rather publish one that is read than one that is tidier.
